چکیده
Abstract We speculate on the development and availability of new innovative propulsion techniques in 2040s, that will allow us to fly a spacecraft outside Solar System (at 150 AU more) reasonable amount time, order directly probe our (gravitational) neighborhood answer pressing questions regarding dark sector (dark energy matter). identify two closely related main science goals, as well secondary objectives could be fulfilled by mission dedicated probing local sector: (i) begin exploration gravitation’s low-acceleration regime with (ii) improve knowledge matter baryon densities. Those can answered measuring gravitational potential an atomic clock on-board outbound orbit, comparing spacecraft’s trajectory predicted General Relativity through combination ranging data in-situ measurement (and correction) non-gravitational accelerations accelerometer. Despite wealth experiments getting online near future, bring about sector, it is very unlikely those closed next decades. More importantly, likely even more urgent than currently them. Tracking carrying accelerometer leaves may easiest fastest way environment.

How Dark is ‘Dark’? Electromagnetic Interactions in the Dark Sector
We review the physical and cosmological consequences of two possible electromagnetic couplings to the dark sector: (i) a neutral lightest dark-matter particle (LDP) with nonzero electric and/or magnetic dipole moments and (ii) a charged next-to-lightest dark-matter particle (NLDP) which decays to a neutral LDP. For scenario (i) we find that a relatively light particle with mass between a few Me...

An interesting possibility for dark matter is a scalar particle of mass of order 10 MeV – 1 GeV, interacting with a U(1) gauge boson (dark photon) which mixes with the photon. We present a simple and natural model realizing this possibility. The dark matter arises as a composite pseudo Nambu-Goldstone boson (dark pion) in a non-Abelian gauge sector, which also gives a mass to the dark photon. F...
متن کاملProbing the Dark Sector with Dark Matter Bound States.
A model of the dark sector where O(few GeV) mass dark matter particles χ couple to a lighter dark force mediator V, m_{V}≪m_{χ}, is motivated by the recently discovered mismatch between simulated and observed shapes of galactic halos. Such models, in general, provide a challenge for direct detection efforts and collider searches. We show that for a large range of coupling constants and masses,...

We detect a weak unidentified emission line at E = (3.55 3.57) ± 0.03 keV in a stacked XMMspectrum of 73 galaxy clusters spanning a redshift range 0.01 0.35. MOS and PN observationsindependently show the presence of the line at consistent energies. When the full sample is dividedinto three subsamples (Perseus, Centaurus+Ophiuchus+Coma, and all others), the line is seen at> 3...
متن کاملSelf–Interacting Dark Matter from the Hidden Heterotic–String Sector
It has been suggested recently that self–interacting dark matter fits better the observational characteristics of galaxy dynamics. We propose that the self–interacting dark matter is composed from the glueballs of the hidden sector non–Abelian gauge group, while the hidden matter states exist in vector–like representation and decouple from the light spectrum. It is shown that these glueballs ar...
